I haven't read a Christian fiction novel as good as this one in many, many years. This author will rise to the best seller list in the Christian sector and beyond.The rich and idiosyncratic characters made me laugh, wonder, and cry. If I could have jumped into the pages of this book and had tea with Miss Robin, I would have. Lynn's character made me sad and hopeful at the same time. I can picture Isaac co clearly, and would love to spend a few hours picking his brain.
This author has a gift for suspense. There is much mystery and intrigue around several of the characters. This is one of those novels that you can not put down, and think about until you pick it up again. There were times that I found myself holding my breath as I turned the pages. I found myself thinking about the various outcomes and how I would feel if it went this way or that.
The writing is so smooth that I found myself totally involved in the story and unaware of the writer.
I was drawn into the setting, and the lives of the people in this novel.
I love being a witness to God's redemptive power at work. God redeems one precious life at time. We get to walk along side the main character as she learns that He is real, and powerful and that He loves her.
I anticipate the sequel with great delight.

I loved this book! It was a great read that I couldn't put down! This book was well written and full of mystery and suspense. I cared about these characters as soon as I met them. I couldn't see where the plot was heading which is generally a pet peeve of mine with other mystery novels. I really enjoyed this book!!! And bonus I learned a couple things for myself about my own beliefs and spirituality!!
Ever Surrender is a book you won't want to put down! If you like a thought-provoking book that will keep you thinking far beyond the read, and a story line that keeps you on the edge of your seat, Ever Surrender is for you! The plot starts off thick and thickens as you read on. It will even encourage your spiritual journey! I can't wait for the next book in this series! I highly recommend it!
Ever Surrender is the best book I've read in a long time. I loved the story and the main characters. I can't wait to read more from Joe Vigliano.
This story kept me engaged throughout. I found the characters to be interesting and some endearing as if familiar. The struggle with faith and the way to trust again was true to life for many. I would love to read more by this author in the future.
Choosing what we pay attention to and choosing how to construct meaning from experience are critical to living a simple, uncluttered, fulfilled life. The author's protaganist, Lynn, accomplished that when she finally managed to make straight the long and winding road that life can be. Stated simply, she escaped the dark cave and found light (a cliche that rings true); it was a sort of spiritual spelunking that Lynn experienced. The author very creatively describes Lynn's journey, making sure we understand that the itinerary can be and usually is arduous, that Lynn's fulfillment was earned, and not by way of epiphany.
'Ever Surrender' is well worth the time in my opinion. At least it was for me.
A great story with a true background of what is going on in the world today. Written from a Christian point of view I enjoyed reading the book without all the cussing and sex. Highly recommended for people who enjoy a clean book and great mystery.
